The City of Port Wentworth Fire Department is an ISO Class 3 department. Staff and personnel are honored to serve the citizens of our City. Our stations are staffed with full time and part-time personnel, that are manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our firefighters devote their time to protect lives, the environment and property by providing prompt, skillful and cost-effective fire protection and life safety services.
The City of Port Wentworth Fire Department operates three fire stations, two three-bay stations and one four-bay station, serving the entire community.
Fire Station No. 3, located at 317 Cantyre Street, serves the northern portion of the city. Fire Station No. 2, located at 6781 Highway 21, is located one mile east of Interstate 95. Fire Station No. 1, located at 100 Anchor Park Boulevard, is our newest fire station and serves as department headquarters, housing the main administrative and operational offices. Free blood pressure checks are available to the public at all fire station locations.
