Port Wentworth Chamber of Commerce to Host Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of Interstate Health – Oct. 18

PORT WENTWORTH, GA – October 16

The Port Wentworth Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting and celebration for the grand opening of Interstate Health from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at the Port Fuel Center, 5712 Highway 21, Suite 300 in Port Wentworth.

Interstate Health is an innovative walk-in medical clinic serving commercial drivers, travelers, and local communities along the nation’s interstate system with convenient, quality care.

For too long the professional drivers on which the transportation industry depends have been unable to reliably access healthcare. Drivers have had little choice but to delay or forgo the healthcare they need because traditional clinics and hospitals don’t have truck parking and taking time off the road to receive care feels risky. Interstate Health is on a mission to change that.

“We are very excited to bring additional healthcare services and much needed access to healthcare for the community and commercial truck drivers to Port Wentworth and the Savannah area,” said Interstate Health Chief Executive Officer Jeff Seraphine. “This is a big step in our vision to bring more accessible healthcare across the interstates in America.”

Located on the sites of large travel centers across the United States, clinics are state-of-the-art, free-standing facilities, centrally supported by a 24/7 corporate office. To learn more about Interstate Health, please visit www.interstatehealth.com.
